Fathers Day Message: Armor of God

Jun 21, 2026    James Kelly

The sermon explored the spiritual armor God provides for every believer and our calling to "pray always" as we face life's battles. Drawing from Ephesians 6:10-18 and John 10:10, we were reminded that while the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus came to give us life—and life more abundantly. We examined how putting on the whole armor of God—the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit—equips us to stand strong against spiritual attacks. The message challenged us, particularly the men, to be prayer warriors for our families, workplaces, and communities, recognizing that our words have power and our faith must be active.
